American Containers can manufacture any size door filler to meet our client's needs. Choose from solid corrugated filler pads or expandable corrugated honeycomb fillers. Both provide superior strength and durability all at a cost that is less than other wood or EPS foam alternatives.
  • Both types of fillers are made of stable materials which minimize telegraphing on the skin surface.
  • The superior bonding surface presented with American Containers' door fillers allow excellent substrate bonding, thereby using less adhesive.
  • Expandable corrugated and solid corrugated fillers are used throughout the world for moderately priced doors because of their price advantages and ready availability.
  • Solid corrugated filler pads are the preferred cores for molded skins and are recommended by all the leading manufactures.
  • The inconsistent thickness of EPS foam pieces makes it easy to see why corrugated paper filler pads are far superior and present an overall lower cost per door.
  • Corrugated honeycomb, when surfaced to +/-.005 accuracy with a .020" cushion above wood thickness, compensates for lumber variations both high and low. Wood fillers cannot accomplish this.
